Three adventures. Thousands of miles. More than $150,000 raised for charity. And a few stories to tell.
I’m Just Pete. In retirement, I’ve hiked the Appalachian Trail, walked across Spain and Portugal, and bicycled across America. Along the way, I discovered that the best adventures rarely go according to plan—and those usually make the best stories.

2,190 miles. Georgia to Maine.

820 miles. Across Europe.

4,535 miles. Anacortes to Key West.
The Miles Were Never Just About the Miles
What began as a series of personal challenges became something much bigger. My adventures on the Appalachian Trail, the Camino de Santiago, and across America by bicycle have helped raise more than $150,000 for three organizations close to my heart: Sun Dial Manor, K9s For Warriors, and the Down Syndrome Program at Boston Children’s Hospital. Every mile had a destination, but it also had a purpose.
